²² And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the worry of ^(A)the ^[a]world and the ^(B)deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

⁶ Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are ^(A)mature, a wisdom, however, not of ^(B)this age nor of the rulers of ^(C)this age, who are ^(D)being abolished.

^8 (A)which none of the rulers of ^(B)this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified ^(C)the Lord of glory.

^18 (A)Let no man deceive himself. ^(B)If any man among you thinks that he is wise in ^(C)this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise.
