Matthew 13:15-17
New Life Version
15 The hearts of these people have become fat. They hear very little with their ears. They have closed their eyes. If they did not do this, they would see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts. Then they would be changed in their ways, and I would heal them.’ (A) 16 But how great are your eyes because they see. How great are your ears because they hear. 17 For sure, I tell you, that many early preachers and men right with God have wanted to see the things you see, but they did not see them. They wanted to hear the things you hear, but they did not hear them.

Matthew 13:15-17
New International Version
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a](A)
16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.(B) 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see(C) but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.
