³⁰“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.^(A) ³¹And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.^(B) ³²Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age^(C) or in the age to come.^(D)

³⁰^(A) If you are not on my side, you are against me. If you don't gather in the harvest with me, you scatter it. ^31-32^(B) I tell you any sinful thing you do or say can be forgiven. Even if you speak against the Son of Man, you can be forgiven. But if you speak against the Holy Spirit, you can never be forgiven, either in this life or in the life to come.
