² But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples do what ^(A)is not lawful to do on a Sabbath.”

¹⁴ But ^(A)the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus ^(B)healed on the Sabbath, answered and was saying to the crowd, “^(C)There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.”

³ And Jesus answered and spoke to the ^(A)scholars of the Law and Pharisees, saying, “^(B)Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath, or not?”

¹⁰ So ^(A)the Jews were saying to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and ^(B)it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.”

^23 (A)If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Sabbath?

¹⁶ So then some of the Pharisees were saying, “This man is not from God, because He ^(A)does not keep the Sabbath.” But others were saying, “How can a sinful man do such ^[a](B)signs?” And ^(C)there was a division among them.
