²⁷ All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom^[a] the Son wants to reveal him.^[b]

¹⁵ He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” ¹⁶ And Simon Peter answered and^[a] said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!” ¹⁷ And Jesus answered and^[b] said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this^[c] to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

²⁹ and I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred on me,
