The Son Gives Knowledge and Rest

²⁵ At that time Jesus said,^(A) “I praise^[a] You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned and revealed them to infants.^(B)

¹¹ But He told them, “Not everyone can accept this saying, but only those it has been given^(A) to.

⁶⁵ He said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me^(A) unless it is granted to him by the Father.”

¹⁰ Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything,^(A) even the depths of God.^(B)

²⁷ God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ^(A) in you, the hope^(B) of glory.

²⁰ But you have an anointing^(A) from the Holy One,^(B) and all of you have knowledge.^[a]

²⁷ The anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you don’t need anyone to teach you. Instead, His anointing teaches you about all things^(A) and is true and is not a lie; just as He has taught you, remain in Him.^(B)
