8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy,[a] drive out demons.(A) Freely you received, freely give. 9 Don’t acquire gold, silver, or copper for your money-belts.(B) 10 Don’t take a traveling bag for the road, or an extra shirt, sandals, or a staff, for the worker(C) is worthy of his food.

9 “Do not get any gold or silver or copper to take with you in your belts(A)— 10 no bag for the journey or extra shirt or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep.(B)
