^2 (A)Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, ^(B)Simon, who is called Peter, and ^(C)Andrew his brother; and ^[a](D)James the son of Zebedee, and ^[b]John his brother;

¹⁴ And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach,

¹³ And when day came, ^(A)He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as ^(B)apostles:

^10 (A)When the apostles returned, they gave an account to Him of all that they had done. ^(B)Taking them with Him, He withdrew by Himself to a city called ^(C)Bethsaida.
