17 Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils(A) and be flogged in the synagogues.(B) 18 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings(C) as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles. 19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it.(D) At that time you will be given what to say,

18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
