Matthew 1:20-22
Amplified Bible
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the Child who has been [a]conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will [b]save His people from their sins.” 22 All this happened in order to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the [c]prophet [Isaiah]:

20 But after he had considered this, an angel(A) of the Lord appeared to him in a dream(B) and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a](C) because he will save his people from their sins.”(D)
22 All this took place to fulfill(E) what the Lord had said through the prophet:
