Matthew 1:15-17
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
15 and Eliud fathered Eleazar, and Eleazar fathered Matthan, and Matthan fathered Jacob, 16 and Jacob fathered Joseph the husband of Mary— by whom[a] Jesus was born, the One being called Christ.
17 So all[b] the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation of Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the deportation of Babylon to the Christ are fourteen generations.

New International Version
15 Elihud the father of Eleazar,
Eleazar the father of Matthan,
Matthan the father of Jacob,
16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary,(A) and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.(B)
17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.
