28 Och varför oroar ni er för kläder? Lägg märke till liljorna på ängen hur de växer! De arbetar inte och spinner inte. 29 Ändå säger jag er, att inte ens Salomo i all sin prakt var så klädd som de. 30 Men om Gud nu ger sådana kläder åt gräset, som idag står på ängen och imorgon kastas på elden, skulle han då inte ordna kläder åt er? Så lite tro ni har!

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor(A) was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?(B)
