Johannes döparens död
(Mark 6:14-29; Luk 9:7-9)
14 Efter ett tag fick tetrarken Herodes[a] höra vad man berättade om Jesus, 2 och han sa då till sina tjänare: ”Det måste vara Johannes döparen som har uppstått från de döda. Det är därför sådana krafter verkar i honom.”
3 Herodes hade nämligen arresterat Johannes och låtit binda honom och kasta honom i fängelse på grund av Herodias, hans bror Filippos hustru. 4 Johannes hade sagt rent ut till Herodes: ”Det är inte tillåtet för dig att leva ihop med henne.” 5 Helst hade Herodes velat döda Johannes, men han var rädd för folket, som ansåg att Johannes var en profet.
6 Men när Herodes hade sin födelsedag, dansade Herodias dotter inför gästerna. Herodes blev så förtjust 7 att han svor att ge henne vad hon än begärde. 8 Hennes mor fick henne då att säga: ”Jag vill ha Johannes döparens huvud på ett fat.” 9 Kungen blev ledsen, men på grund av sitt löfte och för gästernas skull, gav han order om att hon skulle få det. 10 Därför halshöggs Johannes i fängelset, 11 och man lade hans huvud på ett fat och gav det till flickan, som i sin tur bar det till sin mor.
12 Efteråt kom Johannes lärjungar och hämtade kroppen och begravde den. Sedan gick de till Jesus och berättade vad som hade hänt.
Jesus ger mat åt mer än 5 000 personer
(Mark 6:32-44; Luk 9:10-17; Joh 6:1-13)
13 Då Jesus fick höra vad som hade hänt åkte han iväg med en båt till en öde plats för att vara för sig själv. Men folket i städerna fick reda på det och följde efter honom till fots.
14 När Jesus steg ur båten och fick se allt folk som hade samlats, kände han medlidande med dem och botade dem som var sjuka.
15 På kvällen kom sedan hans lärjungar fram till honom och sa: ”Det är redan sent, och det här är ödemark. Skicka iväg folket, så att de kan gå till byarna och köpa sig mat.” 16 Men Jesus svarade: ”Det behövs inte. Ge dem mat, ni själva!” 17 De sa: ”Allt vi har är fem bröd och två fiskar.” 18 ”Ge dem till mig”, sa han.
19 Sedan bad han människorna att slå sig ner i gräset, och han tog de fem bröden och de två fiskarna, såg upp mot himlen och tackade Gud för dem. Efter det bröt han bröden i bitar och gav dem till sina lärjungar, som delade ut dem till folket. 20 Alla åt och blev mätta, och efteråt samlade man upp det som var över, och det blev tolv fulla korgar. 21 Det var omkring 5 000 män som hade ätit, förutom kvinnor och barn.
Jesus går på vattnet
(Mark 6:45-51; Joh 6:16-21)
22 Genast efter detta bad Jesus sina lärjungar att sätta sig i båten och åka i förväg över till andra sidan sjön. Själv stannade han kvar för att se till att folket började vandra hemåt. 23 Och sedan han gjort det, gick han upp på ett berg för att be. Där var han sedan ensam när det blev kväll.
24 Under tiden hade båten råkat i svårigheter långt ute på sjön. Det blåste upp, och båten kämpade mot vågorna i motvinden. 25 Strax innan det började ljusna kom sedan Jesus till dem, gående på vattnet. 26 Då hans lärjungar fick se honom gå på sjön blev de förskräckta, för de trodde det var ett spöke, och de skrek av rädsla.
27 Men Jesus talade genast till dem och sa: ”Lugna er, det är jag. Var inte rädda.”
28 Då svarade Petrus honom: ”Herre, om det verkligen är du, så säg till mig att komma till dig på vattnet.” 29 ”Ja”, sa Jesus. ”Kom!”
Petrus klev då över båtkanten och började gå på vattnet mot Jesus. 30 Men när han såg hur det blåste blev han rädd och började sjunka. ”Rädda mig, Herre!” skrek han. 31 Och genast räckte Jesus ut handen och grep tag i honom.
”Så lite tro du har!” sa Jesus. ”Varför tvivlade du?” 32 Sedan steg de i båten, och i samma stund lade sig vinden. 33 De som var i båten föll då ner för Jesus och sa: ”Du är verkligen Guds Son!”
Jesus botar alla som rör vid honom
(Mark 6:53-56)
34 När de hade åkt över sjön, kom de till Gennesaret, 35 och där blev Jesus genast igenkänd av människorna på platsen. De skickade bud i hela området, och snart kom folk dit med alla sina sjuka. 36 Man bad att de åtminstone skulle få röra vid tofsen på hans mantel. Och alla som gjorde det blev friska.

– Это пророк Яхьё. Он воскрес из мёртвых, и поэтому в Нём такая чудодейственная сила.
3 В своё время Ирод арестовал Яхьё, связал его и бросил в темницу из-за Иродиады, жены своего брата Филиппа[b], 4 потому что Яхьё говорил ему: «Нельзя тебе жить с ней».[c] 5 Ирод хотел убить Яхьё, но боялся народа, так как все считали его пророком. 6 И вот, когда Ирод праздновал свой день рождения, дочь Иродиады танцевала перед гостями и так понравилась Ироду, 7 что он поклялся дать ей всё, чего бы она ни попросила. 8 Наученная своей матерью девушка сказала:
– Подай мне сюда на блюде голову пророка Яхьё.
9 Царь опечалился, но, так как он поклялся перед возлежавшими за столом гостями, то велел исполнить её желание. 10 По его приказу Яхьё отрубили в темнице голову, 11 принесли её на блюде и отдали девушке, а та отнесла её матери. 12 Ученики Яхьё, забрав тело, похоронили его, а затем пошли и рассказали обо всём Исо.
Насыщение более пяти тысяч человек(B)
13 Услышав о судьбе Яхьё, Исо переправился на лодке в пустынное место, чтобы побыть одному. Но люди из окрестных городов узнали, куда Он отправился, и пошли туда пешком. 14 Когда Исо сошёл на берег и увидел большую толпу, Он сжалился над людьми, и исцелил больных, которые были среди них. 15 Наступил вечер. Ученики Исо подошли к Нему и сказали:
– Место здесь пустынное, и уже поздно, отпусти людей, чтобы они успели дойти до ближайших посёлков и купить себе еды.
16 Исо ответил:
– Им не нужно уходить отсюда. Вы дайте им есть.
17 – Но у нас только пять лепёшек и две рыбы, – ответили ученики.
18 – Принесите всё это ко Мне, – сказал Исо.
19 Он велел народу расположиться на траве, взял эти пять лепёшек и две рыбы и, подняв глаза к небу, благословил пищу. Затем Он стал разламывать лепёшки и давать их Своим ученикам, а те – народу. 20 Все ели и насытились, и собрали ещё двенадцать полных корзин остатков. 21 Всего же ело пять тысяч мужчин, не считая женщин и детей.
Хождение Исо Масеха по воде(C)
22 Сразу после этого Исо велел ученикам сесть в лодку и переправиться на другую сторону озера, а Сам Он оставался, пока не отпустил народ. 23 А когда народ разошёлся, Исо поднялся на гору помолиться. Наступил вечер, и Исо оставался на горе один. 24 Тем временем лодка была уже далеко от берега. Её били волны, так как дул встречный ветер. 25 Уже перед рассветом Исо пошёл к ученикам, ступая по озеру. 26 Но ученики, увидев Его идущим по воде, очень испугались.
– Это призрак! – закричали они от страха.
27 Но Исо сразу же заговорил с ними:
– Успокойтесь, это Я, не бойтесь.
28 – Повелитель, если это Ты, – сказал тогда Петрус, – то разреши мне прийти к Тебе по воде.
29 – Иди, – сказал Исо.
Петрус вышел из лодки и пошёл по воде к Исо. 30 Но увидев, как сильно дует ветер, он испугался и, начав тонуть, закричал:
– Повелитель, спаси меня!
31 Исо тотчас протянул руку и поддержал его.
– Маловерный, – сказал Он, – зачем же ты стал сомневаться?
32 Когда они вошли в лодку, ветер утих. 33 Все, кто был в лодке, поклонились Исо.
– Ты действительно (вечный) Сын Всевышнего, – сказали они.
Исцеление больных в Генисарете(D)
34 Переправившись на другую сторону озера, они сошли на берег в Генисарете. 35 Местные жители узнали Исо и разнесли весть о Его приходе по всей округе. К Исо принесли всех больных 36 и просили Его, чтобы Он позволил им прикоснуться лишь к кисточке на краю Его одежды[d]. И все, кто прикасался, выздоравливали.

John the Baptist Beheaded(A)
14 At that time Herod(B) the tetrarch heard the reports about Jesus,(C) 2 and he said to his attendants, “This is John the Baptist;(D) he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”
3 Now Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison(E) because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,(F) 4 for John had been saying to him: “It is not lawful for you to have her.”(G) 5 Herod wanted to kill John, but he was afraid of the people, because they considered John a prophet.(H)
6 On Herod’s birthday the daughter of Herodias danced for the guests and pleased Herod so much 7 that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she asked. 8 Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me here on a platter the head of John the Baptist.” 9 The king was distressed, but because of his oaths and his dinner guests, he ordered that her request be granted 10 and had John beheaded(I) in the prison. 11 His head was brought in on a platter and given to the girl, who carried it to her mother. 12 John’s disciples came and took his body and buried it.(J) Then they went and told Jesus.
Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand(K)(L)
13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them(M) and healed their sick.(N)
15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”
16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 “We have here only five loaves(O) of bread and two fish,” they answered.
18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.(P) Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Jesus Walks on the Water(Q)(R)
22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.(S) Later that night, he was there alone, 24 and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.
25 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,”(T) they said, and cried out in fear.
27 But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage!(U) It is I. Don’t be afraid.”(V)
28 “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
29 “Come,” he said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,”(W) he said, “why did you doubt?”
32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”(X)
34 When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him 36 and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak,(Y) and all who touched it were healed.

6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.
13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.
35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

Feeding the Five Thousand(F)
13 (G)When Jesus heard it, He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. 14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He (H)was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick. 15 (I)When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food.”
16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”
17 And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”
18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, (J)He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. 20 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. 21 Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
Jesus Walks on the Sea(K)
22 Immediately Jesus [a]made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 (L)And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. (M)Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now [b]in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him (N)walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw [e]that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of (P)little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.
33 Then those who were in the boat [f]came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly (Q)You are the Son of God.”
Many Touch Him and Are Made Well(R)
34 (S)When they had crossed over, they came [g]to the land of Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, 36 and begged Him that they might only (T)touch the hem of His garment. And (U)as many as touched it were made perfectly well.
