² “^(A)You know that after two days ^(B)the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be ^(C)delivered over for crucifixion.”

^3 (D)Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in ^(E)the court of the high priest, named ^(F)Caiaphas; ⁴ and they ^(G)plotted together to seize Jesus by stealth and kill Him. ⁵ But they were saying, “Not during the festival, ^(H)lest a riot occur among the people.”
