The Parable of the Ten Virgins

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.

⁴ So, my brothers and sisters,^[a] you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God.^[b]

² For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy, because I promised you in marriage to one husband,^[a] to present you as a pure^[b] virgin to Christ.

³² This mystery is great—but I am actually^[a] speaking with reference to Christ and the church.
