⁹ “This, then, is how you should pray:

The Great Multitude in White Robes

⁹ After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language,^(A) standing before the throne^(B) and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes^(C) and were holding palm branches in their hands.

¹⁷ On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”^(A)

⁴⁴ You belong to your father, the devil,^(A) and you want to carry out your father’s desires.^(B) He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.^(C)

⁹ I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.^[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear,^(A) because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
