⁷ Jesus said to him, “Again, it is written, ‘^(A)You shall not put the ^[a]Lord your God to the test.’”

¹⁰ Then Jesus *said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘^(A)You shall worship the ^[a]Lord your God, and ^[b]serve Him only.’”

¹⁰ For Moses said, ‘^(A)Honor your father and your mother’; and, ‘^(B)He who speaks evil of father or mother, is to ^[a]be put to death’;

²⁸ and they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that ^(A)if a man’s brother dies, having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should ^[a]marry the wife and raise up ^[b]seed for his brother.
