¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, ^(A)“All authority ^(B)in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(A)the power of God and ^(B)the wisdom of God.

¹⁶ For by^[a] him all things were created, ^(A)in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether ^(B)thrones or ^(C)dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created ^(D)through him and for him. ¹⁷ And ^(E)he is before all things, and in him all things ^(F)hold together. ¹⁸ And ^(G)he is the head of the body, the church. He is ^(H)the beginning, ^(I)the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
