²³ And after he had dismissed the crowds, ^(A)he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When ^(B)evening came, he was there alone,

³⁹ And going a little farther he fell on his face ^(A)and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let ^(B)this cup pass from me; ^(C)nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

^15 (A)But now even more the report about him went abroad, and great crowds gathered to hear him and to be healed of their infirmities. ¹⁶ But ^(B)he would withdraw to desolate places and ^(C)pray.
