14 Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:
(A)“‘“You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”
10 This is he of whom it is written,
(A)“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’
42 Jesus said to them, (A)“Have you never read in the Scriptures:
(B)“‘The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;[a]this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
56 But (A)all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” (B)Then all the disciples left him and fled.
