¹⁷ For ^(A)our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, ^18 (B)while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

The New Jerusalem^(A)

⁹ Then one of ^(B)the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came ^[a]to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you ^(C)the ^[b]bride, the Lamb’s wife.” ¹⁰ And he carried me away ^(D)in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me ^(E)the ^[c]great city, the ^[d]holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

¹⁷ And the Spirit and ^(A)the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” ^(B)And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
