²⁵ But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

²⁷ But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he was able to stand.

⁴⁰ Peter put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.^{(A) 41} He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he showed her to be alive.^(B)

⁵⁴ But taking her by the hand, he called out, “Child, get up!”^(A)

²³ He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had put saliva on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Can you see anything?”^(A)

⁴¹ Taking her by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, get up!”

³¹ He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up. Then the fever left her, and she began to serve them.

³² When Elisha came into the house, he saw the child lying dead on his bed. ³³ So he went in and closed the door on the two of them and prayed to the Lord.^{(A) 34} Then he got up on the bed^[a] and lay upon the child, putting his mouth upon his mouth, his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands, and while he lay bent over him, the flesh of the child became warm.^{(B) 35} He got down, walked once to and fro in the room, then got up again and bent over him; the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.^{(C) 36} Elisha^[b] summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite woman.” So he called her. When she came to him, he said, “Take your son.”
