³⁴ And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, ^(A)they begged Him to depart from their region.

³⁹ Then they came and pleaded with them and brought them out, and ^(A)asked them to depart from the city.

⁸ When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, ^(A)“Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

^37 (A)Then the whole multitude of the surrounding region of the ^[a]Gadarenes ^(B)asked Him to ^(C)depart from them, for they were seized with great ^(D)fear. And He got into the boat and returned.

³⁸ Now ^(E)the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, ³⁹ “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

¹⁷ Then ^(A)they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.

¹⁸ And when He got into the boat, ^(B)he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.

¹⁸ So she said to Elijah, ^(A)“What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?”

²⁸ When he saw Jesus, he ^(A)cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, ^(B)“What have I to do with ^(C)You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!”

²⁹ And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
