²⁷ The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

³⁷ People were overwhelmed with amazement. “He has done everything well,” they said. “He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

⁵¹ Then he climbed into the boat^(A) with them, and the wind died down.^(B) They were completely amazed,

²⁷ The people were all so amazed^(A) that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”

³³ Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”^(A)

³¹ The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.^(A)
