^26 (A)Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. ^(B)Are you not of more value than they?

²⁹ Are not two sparrows sold for a penny?^[a] And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. ³⁰ But ^(A)even the hairs of your head are all numbered. ³¹ Fear not, therefore; ^(B)you are of more value than many sparrows.

^24 (A)Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. ^(B)Of how much more value are you than the birds! ²⁵ And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his ^(C)span of life?^{[a] 26} If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? ²⁷ Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,^[b] yet I tell you, ^(D)even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ²⁸ But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, ^(E)O you of little faith! ²⁹ And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor ^(F)be worried. ³⁰ For ^(G)all the nations of the world seek after these things, and ^(H)your Father knows that you need them. ³¹ Instead, ^(I)seek ^(J)his^[c] kingdom, ^(K)and these things will be added to you.

^32 (L)“Fear not, little ^(M)flock, for ^(N)it is your Father's good pleasure to give you ^(O)the kingdom.

⁶ Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?^[a] And ^(A)not one of them is forgotten before God. ⁷ Why, ^(B)even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; ^(C)you are of more value than many sparrows.

³² For ^(A)the Gentiles seek after all these things, and ^(B)your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
