³² “But after I am raised up, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.”^(A)

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers and sisters to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”^(A)

³³ After they have flogged him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.” ³⁴ But they understood nothing about all these things; in fact, what he said was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what was said.^(A)

⁷ But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him, just as he told you.”^(A)

The Commissioning of the Disciples

¹⁶ Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.^(A)

The Coming of Elijah

⁹ As they were coming down the mountain, he ordered them to tell no one about what they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead. ¹⁰ So they kept the matter to themselves, questioning what this rising from the dead could mean.

¹⁹ then they will hand him over to the gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and on the third day he will be raised.”^(A)

⁶ Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died.^[a]

²⁸ “But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.”^(A)

⁶ He is not here, for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he^[a] lay.^{(A) 7} Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead,^[b] and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ This is my message for you.”^(B)
