²⁵ Then Judas, the one who would betray him,^(A) said, “Surely you don’t mean me, Rabbi?”^(B)

Jesus answered, “You have said so.”

⁶⁴ “You have said so,”^(A) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One^(B) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^[a](C)

Jesus Before Pilate^(A)

¹¹ Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”^(B)

“You have said so,” Jesus replied.

³⁷ “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.^(A) Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”^(B)

⁷⁰ They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?”^(A)

He replied, “You say that I am.”^(B)

⁴⁹ Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!”^(A) and kissed him.

⁷ they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.^(A)

²⁵ When he went in and stood before his master, Elisha asked him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?”

“Your servant didn’t go anywhere,” Gehazi answered.
