The Sheep and the Goats

³¹ “When the Son of Man comes^(A) in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.^(B)

⁷ and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven^(A) in blazing fire^(B) with his powerful angels.^{(C) 8} He will punish^(D) those who do not know God^(E) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^(F)

²⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,^(A) you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.^(B)

²⁷ For the Son of Man^(A) is going to come^(B) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.^(C)

³⁸ If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man^(A) will be ashamed of them^(B) when he comes^(C) in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

²⁶ Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them^(A) when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.^(B)

¹⁴ Enoch,^(A) the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming^(B) with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones^(C)

²⁷ And he has given him authority to judge^(A) because he is the Son of Man.

²⁸ “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming^(B) when all who are in their graves will hear his voice ²⁹ and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.^(C)
