⁷ Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.

¹¹ There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.

⁸ I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave.^[a] These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease^[b] and wild animals.

¹³ On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand.

²⁸ One of them named Agabus stood up in one of the meetings and predicted by the Spirit that a great famine was coming upon the entire Roman world. (This was fulfilled during the reign of Claudius.)

⁶ Nation fought against nation, and city against city, for God was troubling them with every kind of problem.

¹² I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.

²⁵ “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. ²⁶ People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
