^8 (A)But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are ^(B)all brothers.^[a]

Taming the Tongue

3 ^(A)Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

¹² What I mean is that ^(A)each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow ^(B)Apollos,” or “I follow ^(C)Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” ^13 (D)Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you ^(E)baptized in the name of Paul?

³ not ^(A)domineering over those in your charge, but ^(B)being examples to the flock.

³² but ^(A)I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, ^(B)strengthen your brothers.”

⁵ He was still speaking when, behold, ^(A)a bright cloud overshadowed them, and ^(B)a voice from the cloud said, ^(C)“This is my beloved Son,^[a] with whom I am well pleased; ^(D)listen to him.”

Vision of the Son of Man

⁹ I, John, your brother and ^(A)partner in ^(B)the tribulation and ^(C)the kingdom and ^(D)the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos ^(E)on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
