^4 (A)For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

⁴⁶ And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! ^(A)For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

¹⁰ Now therefore, why do you test God ^(A)by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

¹³ For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.

²⁸ Come to ^(A)Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take My yoke upon you ^(B)and learn from Me, for I am ^[a]gentle and ^(C)lowly in heart, ^(D)and you will find rest for your souls. ^30 (E)For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

²⁴ “Now to you I say, ^[a]and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the ^(A)depths of Satan, as they say, ^(B)I ^[b]will put on you no other burden.

²³ “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! ^(A)For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and ^(B)have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
