8 And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian^(A) churches. ² In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.^(B)

²⁵ And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.^(A)

⁹ For you know the grace^(A) of our Lord Jesus Christ,^(B) that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor,^(C) so that you through his poverty might become rich.^(D)

³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.^(A)

⁸ ‘The silver is mine and the gold^(A) is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ⁹ ‘The glory^(B) of this present house^(C) will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,^(D)’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
