²⁸ even as the Son of Man came not to be served but ^(A)to serve, and ^(B)to give his life as a ransom for ^(C)many.”

²⁸ so Christ, having been offered once ^(A)to bear the sins of ^(B)many, will appear ^(C)a second time, ^(D)not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly ^(E)waiting for him.

^14 (A)who gave himself for us to ^(B)redeem us from all lawlessness and ^(C)to purify for himself ^(D)a people for his own possession who are ^(E)zealous for good works.

²⁷ For who is the greater, ^(A)one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But ^(B)I am among you as the one who serves.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ ^(A)the faithful witness, ^(B)the firstborn of the dead, and ^(C)the ruler of kings on earth.

To ^(D)him who loves us and ^(E)has freed us from our sins by his blood

¹⁸ knowing that you ^(A)were ransomed from ^(B)the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, ¹⁹ but ^(C)with the precious blood of Christ, like that of ^(D)a lamb ^(E)without blemish or spot.

^6 (A)who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is ^(B)the testimony given ^(C)at the proper time.

⁴ Let each of you ^(A)look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. ^5 (B)Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,^{[a] 6 (C)}who, though he was in ^(D)the form of God, did not count equality with God ^(E)a thing to be grasped,^{[b] 7} but ^(F)emptied himself, by taking the form of a ^(G)servant,^{[c] (H)}being born in the likeness of men. ⁸ And being found in human form, he humbled himself by ^(I)becoming obedient to the point of death, ^(J)even death on a cross.

⁸ And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders ^(A)fell down before the Lamb, ^(B)each holding a harp, and ^(C)golden bowls full of incense, ^(D)which are the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sang ^(E)a new song, saying,
