²⁸ So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, ^(A)you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

²⁸ “But you are those who have continued with Me in ^(A)My trials. ²⁹ And ^(B)I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, ³⁰ that ^(C)you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, ^(D)and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

²¹ To him who overcomes ^(A)I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

^31 (A)“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the ^[a]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

⁴ And I saw ^(A)thrones, and they sat on them, and ^(B)judgment was committed to them. Then I saw ^(C)the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, ^(D)who had not worshiped the beast ^(E)or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they ^(F)lived and ^(G)reigned with Christ for ^[a]a thousand years.

^4 (A)And I heard the number of those who were sealed. ^(B)One hundred and forty-four thousand ^(C)of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

^4 (A)Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, ^(B)clothed in white ^[a]robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.

² Do you not know that ^(A)the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? ³ Do you not know that we shall ^(B)judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

²¹ And He said to her, “What do you wish?”

She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine ^(A)may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.”
