²⁴ Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

⁴⁴ How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God^[a]?^(A)

²⁴ The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is^[a] to enter the kingdom of God!^{(A) 25} It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”^(B)

²⁶ Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”^(A)
