²⁰ For where two or three are gathered ^(A)together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

⁴ In the ^(A)name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, ^(B)with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, ^(A)the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

^20 (A)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am ^(B)with you always, even to the end of the age.” ^[a]Amen.

⁵ For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be ^(A)a wall of fire all around her, ^(B)and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ”

²⁶ And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!”

The Loveless Church

2 “To the ^[a]angel of the church of Ephesus write,

‘These things says ^(A)He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, ^(B)who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

The Apostles Commissioned^(A)

^19 (B)Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were ^[a]assembled, for ^(C)fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, ^(D)“Peace be with you.”

¹¹ saying, ^[a]“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches ^[b]which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

¹² Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned ^(A)I saw seven golden lampstands, ^13 (B)and in the midst of the seven lampstands ^(C)One like the Son of Man, ^(D)clothed with a garment down to the feet and ^(E)girded about the chest with a golden band.
