² And he was ^(A)transfigured before them, and ^(B)his face shone like the sun, and ^(C)his clothes became white as light.

^3 (A)His appearance was like lightning, and ^(B)his clothing white as snow.

²⁹ And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was ^(A)altered, and ^(B)his clothing became dazzling white.

The Angel and the Little Scroll

10 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with ^(A)a rainbow over his head, and ^(B)his face was like the sun, and ^(C)his legs like pillars of fire.

¹³ and in the midst of the lampstands ^(A)one like ^(B)a son of man, ^(C)clothed with a long robe and ^(D)with a golden sash around his chest. ^14 (E)The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. ^(F)His eyes were like a flame of fire, ^15 (G)his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and ^(H)his voice was like the roar of many waters. ^16 (I)In his right hand he held seven stars, ^(J)from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and ^(K)his face was like the sun shining ^(L)in full strength.

^17 (M)When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But ^(N)he laid his right hand on me, ^(O)saying, “Fear not, ^(P)I am the first and the last,

Judgment Before the Great White Throne

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence ^(A)earth and sky fled away, and ^(B)no place was found for them.

^12 (A)His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are ^(B)many diadems, and he has ^(C)a name written that no one knows but himself. ¹³ He is clothed in ^(D)a robe dipped in^[a] blood, and the name by which he is called is ^(E)The Word of God.

¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh and ^(C)dwelt among us, ^(D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son^[a] from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.
