¹⁵ Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; ^(A)send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

²³ But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, ^(A)“Send her away, for she is crying out after us.”

¹² Now ^(A)the day began to wear away, and the twelve came and said to him, ^(B)“Send the crowd away to go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and get provisions, for we are here in a desolate place.”

³ And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.”

³⁵ And when it grew late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is now late. ^36 (A)Send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”
