³⁹ and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. ^(A)The harvest is ^(B)the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

⁴⁹ So it will be at ^(A)the end of the age. The angels will come out and ^(B)separate the evil from the righteous

¹⁵ And another angel ^(A)came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, ^(B)“Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for ^(C)the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” ¹⁶ So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

¹⁷ Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. ¹⁸ And another angel came out from the altar, ^(D)the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, ^(E)for its grapes are ripe.” ¹⁹ So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great ^(F)winepress of the wrath of God.

The Final Judgment

^31 (A)“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, ^(B)then he will sit on his glorious throne.

²⁰ And the beast was captured, and with it ^(A)the false prophet ^(B)who in its presence^[a] had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who ^(C)worshiped its image. These two were ^(D)thrown alive into the lake of ^(E)fire that burns with sulfur.

¹⁴ and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of^[a] the beast ^(A)it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast ^(B)that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.

⁹ And ^(A)the great dragon was thrown down, ^(B)that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, ^(C)the deceiver of the whole world—^(D)he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

⁷ and to grant ^(A)relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when ^(B)the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven ^(C)with his mighty angels ^8 (D)in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those ^(E)who do not know God and on those who ^(F)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. ⁹ They will suffer the punishment of ^(G)eternal destruction, ^(H)away from^[a] the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, ^10 (I)when he comes on ^(J)that day ^(K)to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our ^(L)testimony to you ^(M)was believed.
