^29 (A)Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

^21 (A)When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. ²² But ^(B)when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his ^[a]spoils.

^27 (A)No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.

⁴ You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than ^(A)he who is in the world.

Satanic Rebellion Crushed^(A)

⁷ Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison ⁸ and will go out ^(B)to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, ^(C)Gog and Magog, ^(D)to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. ^9 (E)They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

Satan Bound 1,000 Years

20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, ^(A)having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. ² He laid hold of ^(B)the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; ³ and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and ^(C)set a seal on him, ^(D)so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Satan Thrown Out of Heaven

⁷ And war broke out in heaven: ^(A)Michael and his angels fought ^(B)with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, ⁸ but they ^[a]did not prevail, nor was a place found for ^[b]them in heaven any longer. ⁹ So ^(C)the great dragon was cast out, ^(D)that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, ^(E)who deceives the whole world; ^(F)he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁰ Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ^(G)“Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, ^(H)who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

^8 (A)He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, ^(B)that He might destroy the works of the devil.
