^22 (B)Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the ^[a]blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

^14 (B)And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled. ¹⁵ But some of them said, ^(C)“He casts out demons by ^[a]Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

^35 (A)Immediately his ears were opened, and the ^[a]impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. ³⁶ Then ^(B)He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it. ³⁷ And they were ^(C)astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He ^(D)makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

^18 (A)to open their eyes, in order ^(B)to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, ^(C)that they may receive forgiveness of sins and ^(D)an inheritance among those who are ^(E)sanctified^[a] by faith in Me.’

^11 (A)And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, ^(B)“You are the Son of God.”

²⁴ Then ^[a]His fame went throughout all Syria; and they ^(A)brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

A Mute Man Speaks

^32 (A)As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. ³³ And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”

³⁴ But the Pharisees said, ^(B)“He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”
