¹⁶ He warned them not to tell others about him.^(A)

⁹ As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone^(A) what you have seen, until the Son of Man^(B) has been raised from the dead.”^(C)

³⁰ and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”^(A)

⁴ Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone.^(A) But go, show yourself to the priest^(B) and offer the gift Moses commanded,^(C) as a testimony to them.”

¹⁴ Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone,^(A) but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded^(B) for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”

¹⁵ Yet the news about him spread all the more,^(C) so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.

³⁶ Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone.^(A) But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it.
