¹⁴ If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave.

⁶ But when they opposed and insulted him, Paul shook the dust from his clothes and said, “Your blood is upon your own heads—I am innocent. From now on I will go preach to the Gentiles.”

The whole assembly responded, “Amen,” and they praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.
