¹⁴ If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.^(A)

⁶ But when they opposed Paul and became abusive,^(A) he shook out his clothes in protest^(B) and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads!^(C) I am innocent of it.^(D) From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”^(E)

⁵¹ So they shook the dust off their feet^(A) as a warning to them and went to Iconium.^(B)

¹⁰ But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, ¹¹ ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you.^(A) Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’^(B)

¹³ I also shook^(A) out the folds of my robe and said, “In this way may God shake out of their house and possessions anyone who does not keep this promise. So may such a person be shaken out and emptied!”

At this the whole assembly said, “Amen,”^(B) and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

⁵ If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”^(A)

¹¹ And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet^(A) as a testimony against them.”

²⁰ Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.”^(A)

⁵ And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.^(A)

⁸ Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.^(A)
