^23 (A)And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. ^(B)Now when evening came, He was alone there.

¹² Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in ^(B)prayer to God.

⁴⁶ And when He had sent them away, He ^(A)departed to the mountain to pray.

Jesus Walks on the Sea^(A)

¹⁵ Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him ^(B)king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.

^16 (C)Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea, ¹⁷ got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them.

⁴ but we ^(A)will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
