²³ And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the ^(A)Son of David?”

Two Blind Men Healed

²⁷ When Jesus departed from there, ^(A)two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, ^(B)“Son of David, have mercy on us!”

²⁹ “Come, see a Man ^(A)who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”

⁴² saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”

They said to Him, “The ^(A)Son of David.”

⁴³ He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:

Who Is He?

⁴⁰ Therefore ^[a]many from the crowd, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is ^(A)the Prophet.” ⁴¹ Others said, “This is ^(B)the Christ.”

But some said, “Will the Christ come out of Galilee? ^42 (C)Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, ^(D)where David was?”
