³² “Everyone, therefore, who acknowledges me before others, I also will acknowledge before my Father in heaven,^(A)

⁵ If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not erase your name from the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels.^(A)

⁸ “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God,^{(A) 9} but whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God.

⁹ because^[a] if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe^[b] in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.^{(A) 10} For one believes^[c] with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation.

¹⁵ God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.^(A)
