Ang Salita ng Dios (Tagalog Contemporary Bible)
2 Ito ang kanyang sinasabi, “Magsisi na kayo sa inyong mga kasalanan, dahil malapit na[a] ang paghahari ng Dios.”[b] 3 Si Juan ang tinutukoy ni Propeta Isaias nang sabihin niya,
“Maririnig ang sigaw ng isang tao sa ilang, na nagsasabi:
‘Ihanda ninyo ang daan para sa Panginoon.
Tuwirin ninyo ang mga landas na kanyang dadaanan.’ ”[c]
4 Ang damit ni Juan ay gawa sa balahibo ng kamelyo at ang sinturon niyaʼy gawa sa balat ng hayop. Ang kinakain niya ay balang at pulot-pukyutan.

2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven(A) has come near.” 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a](B)
4 John’s(C) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.(D) His food was locusts(E) and wild honey.
