3 En aquellos días se presentó Juan el Bautista predicando en el desierto de Judea, 2 y diciendo: «Arrepentíos, porque el reino de los cielos se ha acercado», 3 pues éste es aquel de quien habló el profeta Isaías, cuando dijo:
«Voz del que clama en el desierto:
“¡Preparad el camino del Señor,
enderezad sus sendas!”»

3 In those days John the Baptist(B) came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea 2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven(C) has come near.” 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
