La resurrección
28 (A)Pasado el día de reposo, al amanecer del primer día de la semana, María Magdalena y la otra María(B) vinieron a ver el sepulcro. 2 Y he aquí, se produjo un gran terremoto, porque un ángel del Señor(C) descendiendo del cielo, y acercándose, removió la piedra(D) y se sentó sobre ella. 3 Su aspecto era como un relámpago, y su vestidura blanca como la nieve(E); 4 y de miedo a él los guardias temblaron y se quedaron como muertos. 5 Y hablando[a] el ángel, dijo a las mujeres: Vosotras, no temáis(F); porque yo sé que buscáis a Jesús, el que fue crucificado[b]. 6 No está aquí, porque ha resucitado, tal como dijo(G). Venid, ved el lugar donde yacía. 7 E id pronto, y decid a sus discípulos que Él ha resucitado de entre los muertos; y he aquí, Él va delante de vosotros a Galilea(H); allí le veréis. He aquí, os lo he dicho. 8 Y ellas, alejándose a toda prisa del sepulcro con temor y gran gozo, corrieron a dar las noticias a sus discípulos. 9 Y he aquí que Jesús les salió al encuentro, diciendo: ¡Salve! Y ellas, acercándose, abrazaron sus pies y le adoraron. 10 Entonces Jesús les dijo*: No temáis[c](I). Id, avisad a mis hermanos(J) que vayan a Galilea, y allí me verán(K).
Informe de los guardias
11 Y mientras ellas iban, he aquí, algunos de la guardia(L) fueron a la ciudad e informaron a los principales sacerdotes de todo lo que había sucedido. 12 Y después de reunirse con los ancianos y deliberar[d] con ellos, dieron una gran cantidad de dinero a los soldados, 13 diciendo: Decid esto: «Sus discípulos vinieron de noche y robaron el cuerpo[e] mientras nosotros dormíamos». 14 Y si esto llega a oídos del gobernador(M), nosotros lo convenceremos y os evitaremos dificultades[f]. 15 Ellos tomaron el dinero e hicieron como se les había instruido. Y este dicho se divulgó extensamente entre los judíos(N) hasta hoy(O).
La gran comisión
16 Pero los once discípulos se fueron a Galilea(P), al monte que[g] Jesús les había señalado. 17 Cuando le vieron, le adoraron; mas algunos dudaron(Q). 18 Y acercándose Jesús, les habló, diciendo: Toda autoridad me ha sido dada en el cielo y en la tierra(R). 19 Id, pues, y haced discípulos(S) de[h] todas las naciones(T), bautizándolos(U) en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, 20 enseñándoles a guardar todo lo que os he mandado; y he aquí, yo estoy con vosotros(V) todos los días, hasta el fin[i] del mundo[j](W).

He Is Risen(A)
28 Now (B)after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene (C)and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for (D)an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone [a]from the door, and sat on it. 3 (E)His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like (F)dead men.
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, (G)as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed (H)He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
The Women Worship the Risen Lord
9 And [b]as they went to tell His disciples, behold, (I)Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell (J)My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
The Soldiers Are Bribed
11 Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened. 12 When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13 saying, “Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ 14 And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.” 15 So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
The Great Commission(K)
16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain (L)which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some (M)doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, (N)“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 (O)Go [c]therefore and (P)make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 (Q)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am (R)with you always, even to the end of the age.” [d]Amen.
